Description
SPECIFIC SAFETY REQUIREMENTS (UNI EN 12622:2014 STANDARD) The safety of operators using the press brake takes place through the adoption of protections consisting of "material" and/or "immaterial" barriers.
MATERIAL BARRIERS:
- Interlocked guards: which prevent, by means of a microswitch, access to the dangerous area during operation of the machine and cause it to stop when it is opened"
Lateral interlocked guards: Which prevent the lateral reaching of dangerous areas. These are positioned between the press brake and the guard so that a person cannot stand.
Rear interlocked guard: Access to the moving rear gates of the press brake must be prevented by this guard.
MAINTAINED ACTION CONTROL: “the maintained action pedal control has the following positions: first position: stopped; second position: gear; third position: stop (anti-panic function). Operating the pedal in the third position, or releasing it in the first position, can initiate an opening stroke, except if the sheet is already in the compression phase. After actuation of the drive beyond a pressure point in the 3rd position, a restart should only be possible after returning of the drive to the 1st position.
ELECTRICAL PANEL: the closed cabinet protects against contact with live electrical parts. Equipped with a lockable main switch.
EMERGENCY STOP COMMAND The emergency stop function must be initiated via the emergency stop device:
- on the main control panel
-on the maintained action control device. If during the work process it is necessary to stop the crossbar of the machine quickly, the emergency stop on the pedal can be used.
After analyzing the risks of your machine, we offer you the best solutions to make your press brake safe.
