The safety of the workers takes place through the adoption of protections made up of barriers: "material" and/or "immaterial". 1 Immaterial barriers (photocells) Immaterial barriers are photocells. The safety of the operator and third parties is ensured by detecting the part of the human body that enters the dangerous area and causes the dangerous movements to stop. 2 Material barriers (fixed and interlocked guards) By material barriers we mean guards: devices, which prevent reaching the dangerous areas of the same from the side or from the rear. These must be positioned so that a person cannot stand between the press brake and the guard.
